ECOS: Reverberaciones de una colección viva was a group exhibition curated by the sixth cohort of Curatorial Studies in UNAM's Master's in Art History, of which Nidia Rosales was a member. It took place at the Chalet of Centro de las Artes de San Agustín (CaSa).
The exhibition brought together video, photography, installation, painting, printmaking, drawing, and sculpture from the Toledo-INBAL Collections, Centro Fotográfico Manuel Álvarez Bravo, and Francisco Toledo's private collection, in dialogue with nine contemporary artists and collectives.
The metaphor of the echo explored the resonances of institutions founded by Francisco Toledo and his collaborators. From Casa de la Cultura de Juchitán to Instituto de Artes Gráficas de Oaxaca and its library, Centro Fotográfico Manuel Álvarez Bravo, Cineclub El Pochote, and CaSa, these cultural projects have helped transform Oaxaca's artistic landscape.
